Merry Meet All!!!
I was looking for a guy who used to make BoS, hand carved leather ones, he commissioned me to draw him a wolf head. I don't recall his name, but I have been thinking about him alot lately. I do think I would recognize his work
I was not a Witch at that time, but am now, ;D
I am also a leather carver, I do all sorts of crafts, but carving leather is one of my favorites. I love sculpey, and I did go to the site of the Witch who makes the Fae people... LOVE your work!!! Beautiful!!! I have been trying to draw a tree spirit, sprite, something, and yours are just awesome!!!
I have most recently gotten into needle felting and have done a couple of Greenmen faces for the wall, one went for a Samhain Exchange, the other to my eldest daughter.
I have 3 daughters, one is Pagan, one is on the fence and one wants to be but her BF doesn't understand. They are 19, 20 and 21. The 2 youngest each have given me a grandson, lol, well, not gave, but I do watch them while the mom's are at work
My hubby of 6 years is the one who gave me 'permission' to be a Witch. His Mama was a Witch, and I guess she doesn't remember it now, she was nearly horrified when I told her (or retold her?), even though a few years ago, she just said to be careful.
I think she has forgotten again, she is like 73.
We only have a few pets, an 8 month old African Grey parrot, Phoebe (means Bright Moon), Cherry, our 4 year old orange spayed kitty, Grim, the 4 year old parakeet and a few fish tanks, 75 gallon salt water, 55 gallon guppy tank, 10 gallon guppy tank, 20 gallon land hermit crab tank and 20 gallon Betta breeder tank.
We live in a trailer park and I hate it here, I want to be out in the middle of nowhere, we do not even have a tree in the yard. I do have a few in pots, waiting for the day when we 'get where we are meant to be', a wisteria, 2 Japanese red maples, 1 regular maple (a bird planted it), a small bush, and a Katalpa tree.
My bloodlines go back to Gypsy blood, my grandmother on my fathers side, her maiden name was Mudra, but all I can find out about that (defination) is that it is a hand signal of dance.
I have suspicions that my father was Pagan, but maybe will never know. He passed in 1986. Mom was Christian, she died in 1983.
Anyway, I am so happy to have found you guys, and I am really happy to be here!!
