Just read an article on Starbucks about the girl who works there and they send her home from work whenever she wears her pent necklace. Sounds like the real reason is the Union she is in, not the pent, but they are taking it out on her religion, anyway... and leave the cross bearers alone. I think we should all put on our hats, wear our pents and maybe even a cute broom pin on our sweater and go see if we can get served!!!

LOL! nothing worse than an indignant witch before she had her caffeine! Unless it's a whole clan of indignant hat wearing, pentacle clad witches looking for a caffeine buzz!

LOL, I have never been to a Starbucks, I am torn between going with my pentacle displayed proudly on my chest and never giving them a dime.

I spend a lot of time & money at starbucks and my pents & crystals never leave my body...I wear both on my neck, wrists and fingers, and have never even gotten a weird look, but then the pagan community in Phoenix is vast and very public...much different than when I lived in rural Missouri and I imagine Kentucky is about the same.

Oh, yes, you are so right...lol, when I started working at the convienent store/ gas station here, I was a Christian, and the conversion happened during mt time there, it is owned by a Southern Baptist family and I wore my pent under my shirt, rocks in my pocket, never to see the light of day when I was at work! I know I would have been fired on the spot even though I was one of the best employees that they had.

Yup, it's tough being pagan in a christian world...I'm a tad luckier than most as I was born and raised in a pagan family where there were/are witches back for many generations. I never had the family problems many of you are faced with, but I do know how living in the bible belt/small town can be. A witch gotta do what a witch gotta do...LOL!

I don't know for sure, but I don't think I am the only witch to ever be in my line, I have Gypsys for ancestors, but know nothing about them, and my Grandmother was a High Priestess in the Eastern Star. Our mobile home park manager seems to pick on the witch's in our park, tells one girl that she will fine her $50.00 for putting furniture in the dumpster, I have seen the park manager herself putting no allowed items in there. I have a pentacle with bells wind chime hanging from my porch, a Texas Ranger type star hanging next to my front door and this really cool solid star circled with 2 rings and more, smaller solid stars inside the 2 rings this one hangs right on my front door and makes a really cool silouette at night.
